Data Accuracy and Limitations

We strive to provide accurate data, but there are important limitations to understand:

Important disclaimers
  • Market data may be delayed up to 15 minutes during trading hours
  • Historical data accuracy depends on source data quality and corporate action adjustments
  • Stock splits, dividends, and other corporate actions may take 1-2 days to be fully reflected
  • Delisted securities may have incomplete or missing data
  • Data should not be used as the sole basis for investment decisions

Corporate Actions

Stock splits, dividends, mergers, and spinoffs are handled through adjusted price data. However, there may be brief periods where recent corporate actions are not yet reflected. We recommend verifying critical data with your brokerage account.

Brokerage
06

Brokerage Data

When you connect a brokerage account (such as Alpaca), we retrieve your actual positions and balances directly from your broker. This data is typically real-time or near-real-time and reflects your actual holdings.

  • Positions: Your current holdings and quantities
  • Cost Basis: Your purchase prices (when provided by the broker)
  • Account Balance: Cash and total account value
  • Transaction History: Past trades and transfers
